8:30 a.m. CME Globex:Corn 8 lower, Soybeans 5 lower, Wheat 6 1/4 lower. Bearishness from the livestock sector has weighed on corn prices lately, but the soybean and wheat markets have a few fundamental arguments to resist that pressure.

Dow Jones: Lower
U.S. Dollar Index: Lower
Gold: Higher
Crude Oil: Higher

Corn:If Russia stops buying their annual $500 million worth of U.S. pork and beef (based on certification of a feed additive), then American hog and cattle producers may not be able to pay such historically high prices for feed grains. Or so the story went Friday, when ...
