LANGDON, Mo. (DTN) -- Most people work on a schedule. Teachers, writers, factory workers -- even members of Congress have due dates when work is supposed to be done. With the growing season only a few months long, DTN View From the Cab farmers Kane Bercaw of Union City, Mich., and William "Shep" Sheppard of Louisiana, Mo., know the importance of meeting deadlines.
