Going home last Friday, thoughts of a double-digit sell-off in grains the next Monday hadn't even crossed my mind. After putting together my Friday column ("The Trouble with Troubles") on Thursday, logic told me that a weekend full of forecasts for rain and freezing temperatures the coming week would start to support the market, fitting in with some of the technical signals I had been talking about in recent Technically Speaking blog posts.
