General Comments

The U.S. stock market indices are higher with the Dow up 80. The interest rate products are higher. The dollar index is 11 higher. Energies are mixed with crude oil down $0.05. Livestock trade is mixed with cattle higher and hogs lower. Precious metals are lower with gold down $10.

CORN

Corn trade is 3 to 5 cents lower at midday with selling pressure spilling over from the wheat pit. Ethanol margins remain solid with basis softening slightly. On the chart, December futures traded to a fresh low Tuesday at $3.78 1/4 which remains chart support. Chart resistance ...
