General Comments

The U.S. stock market indices are lower with the Dow futures down 100. The interest rate products are higher. The dollar index is 7 lower. Energies are narrowly mixed. Livestock trade is mixed. Precious metals are higher with gold up $2.

Corn trade is 2 to 3 cents higher at midday in quiet trade; the strength is noted as light short profit taking ahead of the report.
