General Comments

The U.S. stock market indices are higher with the Dow futures up 100. The interest rate products are higher. The U.S. dollar index is 10 higher. Energies are higher with crude up 1.10. Livestock trade is mixed. Precious metals are lower with gold down $20.

Corn trade is 2 to 4 higher at midday, following soybeans higher as well as tensions rising in the Black Sea area after Russian approval of Crimean annexation.
