General Comments

U.S. stock markets are mixed. Interest rate products are flat to lower. The dollar index is 46 higher. Energies are higher with crude up .90. Livestock trade is higher. Precious metals are lower with gold down $38.

CORN

Corn futures are 2 to 3 higher in slow trade; the overnight to midday range has been 6 cents. Outside markets are negative with the dollar higher. Informa released a 91.85 million acre estimate for 2014, up slightly from their previous estimate which was neutral. Most of the news continues to suggest a sideways market the rest of the year. ...
