General Comments

The U.S. stock markets are firmer with the Dow 50 higher. The interest rate products are lower. The dollar index is 7 lower. Energies are mixed with crude down 0.60. Livestock trade is mixed with hogs sharply lower. Precious metals are mixed with gold up $21.


Corn trade is 1 to 3 lower in quiet trade at midday. Outside markets are fairly neutral. December has continued to gain a little on the back months, indicating better commercial demand up front and/or poor farmer movement with cash prices at the lowest level in over three years. The upside ...
