General Comments

The U.S. stock markets are higher with the Dow futures up 65. The interest rate products are lower. The dollar index is 47 higher. Energies are mixed. Livestock trade is mostly higher. Precious metals are lower with gold off $23.

Corn trade is 3 lower at midday. Position squaring has favored a negative USDA report with new lows by 4 cents occurring in midday action. Outside market action has helped out the bears this morning.
