General Comments

The U.S. stock markets are higher with the Dow futures up 35. The interest rate products are higher. The dollar index is 13 lower. Energies are lower with crude down $0.90. Livestock trade is lower. Precious metals are lower with gold down $8.


Corn trade is 2 to 3 lower at midday and near the daily lows after trading a dime higher overnight into early this morning. Firmer trade was noted due to the prevented-planting data indicated 3.573 million acres of corn went unplanted. But the trade did not want to buy that rally with harvest pressure ...
