General Comments

U.S. stock markets are firmer with the Dow futures up 40. Interest rate products are lower. The dollar index is 26 lower. Energies are mixed with crude down .80. Livestock trade is mostly lower. Precious metals are lower with gold down $22.

Corn futures are 3 to 5 lower at midday in slow trade. Futures started flat to lower last night following as-expected crop ratings. On the December chart we have resistance at the $4.90 50-day and then the $5.23 100-day moving average. We are tested the lower side of our recent range and support this morning. ...
