General Comments

The U.S. stock markets are lower with the Dow futures down 50 points. The interest rate products are lower. The dollar index is 21 lower. Energies are lower with crude down $1.77. Livestock trade is mixed with hogs the leader. Precious metals are lower with gold off $8.

Corn trade is flat to 2 higher at midday in fairly quiet trade. Outside markets are mixed with the dollar a little softer, crude lower, but the stock market lower. Trade will continue to try to hold $6.30-35 contract support in the near term. Basis stayed firm to start ...
