General Comments

The U.S. stock market indices are flat to higher with Dow up 30. The interest rate products are higher. The dollar index is 4 lower. Energies are mixed with crude up $0.20. Livestock trade is mixed. Precious metals are firmer with gold up 10.


Corn trade is 4 to 7 lower at midday on old crop, with follow-through selling after Friday's break, and position squaring ahead the WASDE monthly report due out Tuesday morning.
