OMAHA (DTN) -- As we near the close, December corn is down 6 cents, November soybeans are down 6 1/2 cents, and December Chicago wheat is down 8 1/2 cents. Grains remain lower ahead of the holiday weekend with very little trading volume in the past two hours. The few exceptions to Friday's bearish trend in grains are September contracts of soybeans and Minneapolis wheat where commercial demand is active. Soybean meal is the other bullish performer with spot crush premiums at all-time highs.
