Posted 09:56 -- December corn is down 4 1/4 cents, November soybeans are down 7 cents and September Chicago wheat is down 4 3/4 cents. Grains continue their downward slide with little news to interrupt. The U.S. Energy Information Administration said that last week's ethanol production dropped from 953,000 to 927,000 barrels per day while supplies inched up to 18.3 million barrels. Ethanol production has found a higher plateau this year and is one source of commercial support for these falling prices.
