OMAHA (DTN) -- As we near the close, December corn is up 4 3/4 cents, January soybeans are up 24 1/2 cents, and December Chicago wheat is down 1/2 cent. Producers have waited a long time to see USDA's estimate of planted acres come down after this year's excessively wet spring weather. USDA's planted corn acres estimate was reduced from 97.4 to 95.3 million acres and the soybean estimate was reduced from 77.2 to 76.5 million acres.
