OMAHA (DTN) -- The corn market is steady and quiet Friday as the weekend draws near. May soybeans are trading 14 cents lower, not much different from where they were earlier Friday morning. All three wheat contracts turned higher mid-morning, and May Chicago is trading up a 4 cents. Dry conditions persist throughout the Southern Plains, and North Dakota fields are currently too cold and snow-covered to plant spring wheat.
