GENERAL COMMENTS

Sharp losses are developing across the livestock markets Wednesday morning, led by strong triple-digit losses in the cattle complex. Feeder cattle futures are testing the daily trading limit, and a confirmation of this pressure after opening bell of pit trade could quickly create additional weakness to develop through the entire livestock complex. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading lower. Dow Jones Index is 2 points lower while Nasdaq is down 7 points.
