DTN Before The Bell-Livestock

Livestock futures are pointing to moderate to strong gains early Tuesday morning with triple digit gains in feeder cattle futures leading the market higher. The focus on meat demand through the remainder of August and leading up to Labor Day weekend is expected to be the main focus over the next couple of trading sessions. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading higher. Dow Jones Index is 44 points higher, while Nasdaq is up 9 points.
