GENERAL COMMENTS

Sharp gains are redeveloping in the cattle complex early Wednesday morning. This is helping to draw additional volume into the market with the potential for buyers who could not get orders filled Tuesday due to market locked in limit higher trade. Lean hog futures are moving the opposite direction as traders are starting to back away from the longer term tight supply situations for the time being. Corn futures are trading higher in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading mixed. Dow Jones Index is 46 points lower, while Nasdaq is up 5 points.
