GENERAL COMMENTS

Light to moderate gains are expected to slowly trickle into the livestock futures market early Monday. But prices could be seen in a wide unsettled range as a combination of follow-through support and position taking is likely to be the main order of business as additional volume will be seen following the holiday weekend. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading lower. Dow Jones Index is 54 points lower, while Nasdaq is down 14 points.
