GENERAL COMMENTS

Livestock futures are expected to open mixed with a light to moderate market correction developing in the cattle complex after posting aggressive gains Monday. Strong lean hog gains have developed ahead of opening bell, but follow-through buying during the rest of the morning is still uncertain. Corn futures are trading higher in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading lower in light overnight trade.
