From Friday to Friday livestock futures scored the following changes: Aug LC, Up 2.50, Oct LC, Up 2.67; Aug FC, Up 1.28; Sep FC, Up .68; Aug LH, Off 1.60; Oct LH, Off .25. Besides a few scattered sales in the North (e.g. $157.50 basis Nebraska), the late-week cash cattle trade was generally quiet. Decent movement on Wednesday and Thursday in most areas except Texas worked to preserve the current status of feedlots. According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base is $0.18 lower compared with the Prior Day settlement ($125.75-$129.00, weighted average $127.65). Corn futures ...
