Jacob Mohr, 13, was having a dilly of a time with his Holstein yearling heifer in the steamy 4-H show ring at Minnesota's McLeod County Fair. As the contestants circled around the judge, Jacob's heifer started to balk, bobbing her head and yanking her chain.

Much to the boy's relief, as he struggled to get his cow under control, his big sister Amanda rushed in to grab the chain and calm the young heifer down. Despite having the jitters in such a hot, charged atmosphere, Jacob's heifer took a blue ribbon home.
