Flexibility and adaptability have become the unofficial motto for the Renner family, of northeast Iowa. Never was that more clear than four years ago, when the company for whom they raised contract hogs suddenly canceled its contract. Tom Renner and his son, Brent, were left to make decisions about two 2,400-head hog buildings they owned.
