For many years now I have written Russ' Vintage Iron. I believe it is around 12 years I have been attempting to put my thoughts about old farm machinery in this space, first as a weekly column and in recent years a monthly column.

Up to now, I never really thought much about the word "vintage." So I looked it up in the old dictionary I keep on my desk.
