DURHAM, N.C. (DTN) -- U.S. farmers will see new crop protection solutions emerge from BASF in coming years. During a media summit held June 11, the chemical company announced intentions to launch more than 20 different innovations from its research and development pipeline in North America.

Among the offerings will be Engenia herbicide, a new low-volatility formulation of dicamba. Designed to be used with Monsanto's dicamba/glyphosate-tolerant cropping system, the introduction will require the trait system to clear necessary regulatory approvals. Markus Heldt, president of BASF's ...
