MARKET SUMMARY

HRS finished 2 3/4 to 5 1/2 cents lower, corn ended 1 to 2 3/4 cents lower, soybeans finished 1 1/2 cents lower to 16 1/2 cents higher and canola closed $2.30 to $4.60/mt lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, the TSX equity index was 15 points lower at 15,547, with gains seen in U.S. markets. The Canadian dollar was 18 basis points higher at $0.9131 U.S., while the U.S dollar index has slipped 0.075 to 82.205. Gold was $18.70/ounce lower at $1,276.40/ounce.
