MARKET SUMMARY

HRS finished 6 to 6 3/4 cents lower, corn closed 3 to 5 cents lower, soybeans ended 1/4 cent lower to 15 1/2 cents lower which canola closed $2.70/mt lower to $2.50/mt higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In early afternoon trade, the TSX equity index is higher for the fifth consecutive day, up 40 points at 15,517, with mixed trade in U.S. markets. The Canadian dollar is 16 basis points lower at $.9116 U.S., while the U.S. dollar index is .303 higher at 82.240. Gold is $4.40 lower at $1,292.40/ounce.
