MARKET SUMMARY

Corn closed 2 to 2 1/2 cents lower, hard red spring wheat closed 5 3/4 to 6 1/2 cents higher, soybeans ended 9 3/4 to 13 3/4 cents lower while canola finished $5 to $6.30/mt higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

The TSX has followed U.S. markets lower in Tuesday morning trade, down 64 points in early afternoon trade while the Dow is 155 lower. The Canadian dollar is 50 points lower at $.9107 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index is 0.210 higher at 81.615. Gold is $2.60 higher at $1,291.40/ounce.
