MARKET SUMMARY

Soybeans finished 2 to 14 1/4 cents lower, canola closed $9.80 to $13.50/mt lower, HRS ended 7 1/4 to 12 cents lower and corn closed 4 1/4 to 7 cents lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

Prior to the close, the TSX equity index was 25 points higher at 15,162, following gains in U.S. markets. The Canadian dollar was 11 basis points higher at $.9363 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index was 0.016 lower at 80.215. Gold was $7.30 higher at $1,323.80/ounce. Crude oil was $1.26 lower at $101.53/barrel, while Brent crude was 71 cents lower at $108.23/barrel.
