General Comments:

Corn Futures closed lower Tuesday under pressure from favorable weather conditions with expectations that corn yields will be high. Front-month soybean futures closed higher as the trade expects old-crop stocks to dip to their lowest level in five years by the end of August. New-crop contracts were lower as the weather remains near perfect for soybean development. September corn was down 3 3/4 cents at $3.60 1/4 and December corn was down 3 3/4 cents at $3.68 1/4.
