General Comments:

Corn closed lower as good growing weather continues in the Corn Belt with 75% of the U.S. corn in good-to-excellent condition, according to USDA on Monday. Forecasts for corn pollination in the next few weeks are nearly ideal with no signs of extreme heat seen at this point. Soybeans continued their downward spiral as favorable weather continues to pressure the market. The condition of the soybean crop at this stage is 72% good to excellent as of the USDA Crop Progress report Monday and prospects for a large crop is sending the market lower.
