OMAHA (DTN) -- As we near the close, December corn is up 6 cents, November soybeans are up 7 3/4 cents, and September Chicago wheat is up 15 cents. Grains are trading higher Wednesday, largely on news that Russia is gathering troops along Ukraine's border in what looks like a threatening pre-invasion move. The rally in grains started early in wheat and spread to corn and soybeans as the day progressed, but it is not clear where prices go from here. Decent rains were seen in the western Midwest and there should be more this week.
