Ethanol futures didn't follow the corn market lower Friday, even after early in the day August hit a low of $2.07, down 2.4 cents. August recovered at the end of the day to close at $2.089 per gallon, nearly unchanged, and September was up 1.0 cents at $2 per gallon.

Crude oil futures moved lower as supplies increase and demand softens as refineries continue to run at full speed.
