Ethanol futures didn't follow the corn market lower Friday, even after early in the day August hit a low of $2.07, down 2.4 cents. August recovered at the end of the day to close at $2.089 per gallon, nearly unchanged, and September was up 1.0 cents at $2 per gallon.

Crude oil futures moved lower as supplies increase and demand softens as refineries continue to run at full speed. The Labor Department reported 209,000 jobs added last month, down from the prior month and below the estimate of 233,000. The unemployment rate was higher, ticking up to 6.2% in July ...
