Ethanol futures closed higher even as margins moved lower but remain firm amid higher corn prices Monday. Cash corn prices remain cheap this summer and a good value for ethanol plants as they continue to ramp up production. August closed at $2.195 per gallon, up 4.6 cents, and September traded up 5.1 cents at $2.086 per gallon.
