Ethanol futures continued to draw light to moderate buyer support as corn prices once again inched higher Friday. Following the aggressive pressure through the early part of the week, renewed buyer support is seen through the corn complex, which is increasing overall ethanol production and likely the expectations of higher ethanol prices through the summer and fall months. July futures posted a 2.3 cent per gallon gain, closing at $2.154 a gallon. Other nearby contracts held 1.4 to 2.5 cents per gallon gain, which continues to help draw firm support into the market ahead of the weekend break.
