Milk production is steady at levels above last year. Dairy farmers are pushing to increase milk production as well as increase cow numbers. September Class III futures closing at $24.07 leaves price just 24 cents shy of the record Class III price set in April. I did not think milk prices would be able to come back in the vicinity of spring prices, but here we are. It has been an incredible year for milk prices.
