Firm support continues to develop through the milk complex with moderate gains developing and holding in nearby contract months. August and September milk contracts closed above $22 per cwt. This is the first move above the $22 per cwt level since early June. All contracts through November were able to sustain double-digit gains with September futures leading the market higher with a 26-cent-per-cwt rally. The firm support in both cheese and butter prices during the midday exchange-traded session helped to build the support.
