Milk supply is steady with sufficient quantity to meet demand. Bottling demand is steady at summer levels with excess milk moving to manufacturing plants. Production continues to run ahead of last year due to good feed availability, manageable weather and the desire to increase cow numbers despite high cull cow prices. Milk production is higher not only in the U.S., but in other countries as well. The result has been lower Global Dairy Trade auction prices.
