The general consensus seems to be that milk prices will not return to the previous high set earlier this year, but there is growing consensus that prices may remain stronger than earlier thought. We are nearly into the second half of the year during which demand usually increases as the focus turns to fall and holiday demand. It looks like it will be a banner year for milk prices unless demand slows during a time when seasonally it increases.
