USDA’s Dairy Market News reports very good quality for first crop hay being put up in the Central region. Milk haulers in the region indicate continued increasing milk receipts. Temperatures are increasing, but yet manageable. Cows are doing well. Florida sent 120 loads of milk out of the state this week, half of what was sent out last week. Temperatures are increasing as well as an increase in Class I milk demand. Manufacturers are doing various things to handle extra milk while yet keeping supplies manageable.
