Sometime in the late 1920s, after countless nights of craning his neck through the nooks and crannies of the Milky Way, Edward Hubble concluded that the universe was indeed still expanding in the wake of the Big Bang, that first true spark of herd building launched 13.8 billion years ago.

Talk about the long view.

So where are visionaries like Hubble, Albert Einstein, and Georges Lemaitre when we really need them? You mean to tell me that not one cosmological smarty pants in the current genius pool is interested in the prospects of cattle and hog expansion?
