OMAHA (DTN) -- The following are highlights from the weekly crop progress report for conditions until June 17, released June 20 from Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development:

Over the past two weeks the province experienced cooler weather, delaying crop development in some regions. Isolated showers were reported in the Central, North East and North West Regions, with general precipitation across the Peace Region. Heavy rains during June 16 and 17 brought upwards of 100 millimetres of moisture to southwestern Alberta, in areas around Lethbridge, and west into the foothills.
