OMAHA (DTN) -- The sun is shining. The snow is melting. The weatherman says the temp will top out in the low 50s today. Who can blame this old editor if she's thinking, "Ahhhhh. Spring!"

Of course, there is still plenty of time for snow and ice and cold before spring officially rolls around. But time flies and before we know it planters will be rolling.
