Light to moderate rain is in store for the southeastern Plains through northern Midwest Friday. Other primary U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop regions will have a drier trend. Drier conditions in western Midwest will allow for some water receding after flash flooding this week. We will see a renewed round of moderate to heavy rain during the Labor Day weekend in the Midwest and Delta, causing some harvest delays in southern areas along with bringing a new round of wet conditions to some saturated areas. Temperatures remain cool north and very warm to hot south.
