Light to moderate rain is in store for the southeastern Plains through northern Midwest Friday. Other primary U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop regions will have a drier trend. Drier conditions in western Midwest will allow for some water receding after flash flooding this week. Temperatures remain cool north and very warm to hot south.
