Scattered showers and light rain occurred Thursday from the Northern Plains of the U.S to the Canadian Prairies. Scattered showers and rain also moved through northern and far east areas of the Midwest region Thursday. Dry or with only a few light showers elsewhere in the key crop areas. Temperatures ranged from the 60s in the west Canadian Prairies to the low 100s in the southwest Plains and also parts of the southeast U.S.
