Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected Wednesday or Wednesday night over the Canadian Prairies, the U.S. Northern Plains and in the northwest and central Midwest regions. Rainfall will favor late-filling summer crops but may delay the harvest of spring wheat through the Northern Plains. Mainly dry elsewhere in the key U.S. crop areas. Hot today from the central and Southern Plains to the southwest Midwest, the Delta and in the southeast.
