Moderate to locally-heavy rain continued Wednesday afternoon in the western Midwest, covering most of Iowa. Light rain was also featured in portions of the central and Northern Plains and the central Midwest along with the Southeast. Scattered showers were also noted in the central Canadian Prairies. The Iowa rains were a continuation of a round of moderate to heavy rain in the northwestern Midwest Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
