Light rain is in store for portions of the Northern Plains, western Midwest, and eastern Midwest Tuesday. Other primary U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop areas will be dry. Temperatures will be mild in northern, central and eastern areas, and hot in western and southern areas. This combination again is mostly favorable to crops; however, stress in areas with dry and hot conditions will occur.

Highs: 70s/80s Prairies, Northern Plains, Midwest; 90s western, central and Southern Plains, Delta, Deep South, Southeast, Texas.
